Wardrobe Packing Adventure I

Had intended to pack the Wardrobe...
But I ended up with (=_=;;;) Oh well, I saw it coming...

But I threw out a lot of stuffs, which is a good sign.
Anyway, the greatest beneficiary of all time is Sis.

Michelle misgauged the height for her 上段突き and punched me at the left eye & nose.

Guess she's never sparred with a shorter opponent before... Well, I wasn't really injured anyway.

Know what, aggressive opponents like Michelle still scare me quite a bit. I don't think I'm one.

Really love kumite even though it's scary & painful ~

Dark Shadows

Watched Dark Shadows late night show with Buddy @ JCube.

The trailer looked promising and the movie started off well. But it's a shame that it soon lost it's momentum & coherence; quite stupid I'd say if I may...

Nevertheless, Johnny Depp's awesome acting will not fail his audiences. I was very much entertained by Depp's character, Barnabas, speaking in Early Modern English in 1970s America...

Fear Not

Today marks my 21^st day with Menloworldwide as a HR Business Partner

And I’ve been introduced to yet another challenge – The metrics records & reports.

Well, it was fun involved in company events, trainings & orientations…etc as soon as I joined my department ; the fast paced environment was pure excitement.

Meeting people from different corporate levels, from all walks of life has been interesting. I’ve met (briefly though) almost all the employees from the departments under my care and many are awesome people with great personalities.

But the onslaught of challenges soon overwhelmed me, making me feel “helpless and horrible”; at least that’s what I’m feeling at this current moment.

As I turned to the Lord during this lunch time QT, I am comforted.

Indeed, when we “pass through the waters… through the rivers…through the fire” (the challenges coming at me one after another), feeling “helpless & horrible”, we need to remember the Lord said, “Fear not … you are Mine”. Yes, “we were never alone”…

Haha~ Well ... Buddy's Bday party on Sat at his 2nd Sis place & I ended up overnight gaming D III with his eldest Sis.

After 7hrs battle - 20 May ; 1.30am

Me still at battle with Da Jie - 20 May ; 8pm

D III is a fun game, but I still prefer WarCraft III ...
