Saturday’s reading reminded me of what a brother, Jason once said: Normalization doesn’t mean justification.

Indeed, we’re so easily influenced by people & things around us that our values and morals often conform to our surroundings. After all, the nail that sticks out gets hammered in (出る杭は打たれる) – Japanese Proverb.

But as believers, we are called to be saints – set aside for God, bringing ourselves as salt and light to the world. We’re “in the world, but not of the world”. Being “in” the world, we enjoy the things of the world, such as the beautiful creation God has given us, but we are not to immerse ourselves in what the world values, nor are we to chase after worldly pleasures.

Obedience to God is the key to a life of blessing, as pleasure in life is no longer our calling. It is a tough battle of a lifetime, but "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!" (Phi 4:13)

Just Not Right :(

怎么办。。。现在有点心理不平衡。Today 本来就感觉怪怪的，心里焖焖的，在看GetBackers 更是难过。真是的。。。好好的看个 Shounen Anime 也会有这样的反应？！

就是觉得 Ginji 背叛了Volts 所以大家才会各分东西，还受尽煎熬的。我好生气好难过，怎么办？真的最痛恨背叛和伤害朋友的混蛋。。。(Actually, 也不是他的错啦，anyway 就是生气）

Anyway, 不看了，还是看别的。。。有的没的写了一堆，总算心情平复了些。。。以防万一，明早还是去吃吃Yakun Kaya Toast。
