夏祭り2010

Went for my maiden Summer Festival here in this Summer-All-Year-Round Singapore. Made me really miss Japan a lot.

It's really nice of Buddy Sebastian and his Big Sis to join me. I always love their company. Couldn't have put on my Yukata so prettily without Big Sis too~

We attacked the food stalls first and bought lots of food. Itadakimasu~

The sun was shining right in our face (even though it's evening time). Very 'Summer' indeed...

After we had our fill, it's time to explore around and watch the performances~

My Buddy's ears got problem... -_-'''

And I met some nice doll owners/ doll lovers who invited me to join their circle - Dolls of The Circle.
They brought their pretty girls with them to the event. So cute~

The setting's great, the lighting's awesome but I suck as a photographer...

Anyway, seems like my (soon-to-be) boys would have friends to take pictures with and I would have guidance from experienced doll owners~ Very inspiring~ But first of all, I need to save up enough for my first boy leh...

Big Sis was very high on the Bonodori. We were dancing the Summer Festival dances with everyone else and it was really fun~

The best shot of the day. Under the Sakura...
Erm, Bougainvillea plant...

Then I met another Volks owner and her pretty kids. The girl's full of praises (except for the price haha...) for Volks. I know Volks offers good quality, but well, so far I haven't found a Volks sculpt which I like very much.

I wore the Yukata home. Oh, nevermind the curious stares... Mummy thought her daughter's cute, so she took a picture of me outside my room.

I squashed the Obi out of shape, but well, it's really beautifully tied. Thanks to Big Sis.

それゃヤバイぞ!

So, 7 ain’t just many people’s (including me) luckily number. It’s also a magic number that’ll help you live longer.

You sleep for more than 7 hours, you’re one and a half time more likely to develop cardiovascular disease.

You sleep lesser that that, you would’ve increased your risk of developing cardiovascular disease more than threefold!

So to say, on weekdays I’ll need to hit the sack by 11.45pm?! マジかよ!?
And according to an article I read on the recent Chinese papers, people who sit for more than 6 hours a day have a shorter lifespan.

Aiyooo!!! Good Lord, I love you with my heart and soul but I don’t think I’m ready to see you so soon. How?!

騙されちゃった。よかったねえ~~~

Already 5 episodes into the series and the excitement & mystery continue to heighten…

Well, I just have to tip my hat to the producers. You see... When was the last time a whole fan base has been so totally and perfectly manipulated? It started off with the ending of the first season.

It was a perfectly reasonable ending nevertheless but also an ending leaving many fans feeling somewhat unfulfilled and sad. Then hopes were risen when news of a second season were released. Every one of us waited in anticipation.

The producers must have been laughing their asses off hearing & reading about rabid Sebby x Ciel fans going into despair (I was one of those) and trashing the new characters Claude & Alois even before they were seen.

I mean, check out the promo videos and the official website! “New master & a New butler” they said, and most importantly, absolutely no sighting of Sebastian & Ciel!!! Gyaaa…

Then 3 quarts into the 1st episode, unsuspecting fans were in for a humongous surprise. Kyaaa~

Our beloved Sebby & Ciel were introduced back into their new season in the most beautiful and sweet manner~

And now??? People are ecstatic to know that they are back AND they want the once hated Claude x Alois pair too?! The whole thing was such a strike of genius!
