Singapore Arts Fest. 2011 - Nanyin

Once again, another successful, awesome collaboration with SCO!

I love being on the same stage with my teachers~

师生同台！I love being involved in such major projects!
It feeds my ego somehow~ LOLx~

No lah, most importantly, I get to meet my CO teachers again.
I really really miss them so~ ~ ~ And big projects are fun~

Plus, our choir-CO collaborations are always so satisfying.
Very very very beautiful music~ ~ ~

I installed the Windows Virtual PC XP Mode and FINALLY!!!

I get to play my WarCraft III again ~ ~ ~

My pretty voice is now out-of-tune.

Was on MC on Monday.

The medication is supposed to make me drowsy,
why am I feeling weak and lethargic instead...

Going back to work tomorrow. How dreadful...

My First Chinese Tour Group

We had a group of Chinese Nationals Poly students who came to tour the Cathedral and I took 1 of the small groups.

Even though I've been with the Welcome Centre since Feb, today was my 1st tour fully in Mandarin~ I was actually very nervous...

The Lord has blessed us and all was well.

My Maiden Elections

Congrats PAP for winning great majority seats in Parliment (again). Nevertheless this GE is their wake up call.

Congrats Workers Party for their victories; History has been made!

I feel really sorry for SPP's loss of Potong Pasir; Chiam See Tong's fruit of 27 years labor to be handed over.

Great job Opposition Parties! Overall they've put up an awesome fight!!! Very heartening~ Ganbare!!!

Looking forward to a more exciting & vibrant local politics scene~

Saint Andrew's Cathedral AGM 2011

Election for People's Warden and the Parochial Church Council. All walk overs.

But voting is still required. Candidates require at least 30% votes (agreement) to be "elected into office"

May God continue to bless our Cathedral and use us for His Kingdom.

神様のお返事．．．

The past 1 week was really painful and the pain continues to torment me from within.

I feel so miserable, so angry, so helpless, not knowing what wrong I have done to deserve such injustice, oppression and humiliation at work. 

In private, I too realised (I've always feel it that way) that I have no one to turn to. My parents aren't that "sentimental" sort (that's how my Mum puts it) and my so-called "friends" are always "busy"... Very pathetic and lonely.

In 2 seperate readings, the Lord spoke to me.

He sends me a reminder when I'm hurt - Love others for God's sake.

His perfect standards are unachievable by our own strength. Therefore, we rely on Him and by the power of the Holy Spirit He strengthens us from within.

The 2nd reading brought tears to my eyes.
He tells me, I am not alone.

AMEN.

Terrible Week

Many things aren't settled down yet at the new office.
Many small issues to handle. Very frustrating, so tiring.

I accidently sliced off a small piece of flesh from my finger when I was doing some unpacking @ work. Hopefully it'll heal soon.

My boss is all out to get me. She's making things difficult for me, subjecting me to verbal, mental & emotional abuses.
I'm feeling very angry and miserable.

My mum totally forgot about my birthday. Very disheartening...
